Traditional Magic
Table of Contents
In essence, magic is 1) the use of energy, 2) the direction of energy for an intended result, and 3) the use of a "familiar" spirit and other friendly spirits, to help in magical workings.
All magical spells are driven by intent, which is a verbally stated intended goal, and all spells are powered by energy, the mental and allied energies that are infused into the spell during its proper casting.
Magic always works in harmony with Nature because magic is based on the use of energy and energy is part of Nature. Therefore, magic is subject to the laws of physics. Magic can succeed only when there is a physical possibility of success. It is incorrect to think of magic as "supernatural."
