An object cleansed and infused with energy intended to attract a specific force or other positive energy such as to enhance health, increase wealth, to help in the achievement of a positive goal, or for any other positive purpose.

Today, the most common form of talisman is an object worn or carried on the body such as jewelry, a stone, a piece of glass or metal or other object.

A talisman is never intended as a protection, for that you need an Amulet.

An amulet is the opposite of a talisman; it is an object magically infused as a defense against negative energy or a specific negative force. A charm is the common term used by the public for both amulet and talisman jewelry.
