Any plant grown for use in cooking, medicine, and in magic. A medicinal herb is often a shrub or other woody plant. Usually, the seeds, berries, bark, or roots are the parts of the plant used. A culinary herb is a usually a non-woody plant. Usually, the green, leafy part of the plant is used.
