Tool Consecration Ritual

This is a brief ritual to purify, cleanse, or consecrate tools used for ritual or magic before casting a compass, so the tool can be used in casting, or in a compass.

It is always better to cleanse or consecrate ritual tools so you will get rid of negative energy and the influences from others.

You will need:

• A white candle(s) and holder(s)
• Incense and censor
• Bowl of water
• Bowl of Salt

Ritual:

Light the candle(s) and incense.

Sprinkle salt on the item, or cover part of item with salt in a salt bowl.

Place right hand over item.

Close eyes and visualize white light coming from your palm and passing though the item, eliminating all negative energy.

Remove item from salt, shake off the salt,

Pass item through incense smoke.

Pass item through the flame of one candle, then

Sprinkle with water.

Then say:

You may continue with a brief "charge" rite. To do this:
Hold item over your head, or touch item to the top of your head.
Close eyes and visualize a white glow that surrounds you and the item.
