Libation to the Gods

This is an optional concluding ritual performed if you worship a god that usually accepts libations.

Take the wine and cake libations you saved from the Wine Ritual go outside. At the same time, you can also take out the water used during ritual purification. It is now considered to be polluted and must be disposed of to the earth. Pets should not drink it. Also, do not allow the water to touch the wine or cake.

When outside:

1) Pour the contaminated water to your right or left side without looking at it.  It is done in this manner to show it to be of no importance.

Then begin the Libation:

2) Briefly raise the cake up in the air, then crumble it onto the ground, or place it on the ground directly in front of you.

3) Briefly raise the wine up in the air, then pour in on the ground. You may bend down to avoid splashing the wine on your cloths. Say whatever may be appropriate, as an example only, such as:

This assumes you live in a house with land and have complete privacy in your yard. However, if you do not have complete privacy or you live in an apartment, then crumble the cake into the trash and pour the wine down the sink. You may think this seems wrong; but in fact, the trash will be buried in the ground and the sink drain will return liquid to the Earth, which is the whole idea.
