Traditional British Witchcraft Cord
In many traditions, a cord is worn during spellwork. A cord is normally either 5 feet long, the length of your body, or 9 feet long. It is usually a thin rope. It should be made of woven or twisted natural fiber strands such as cotton, wool, flax, or silk. In Trad Witchcraft, some plait three cords to make a more substancial cord, and some use a color for each cord. A loop is at one end and a tassel at the other. Nine knotes can be placed on the cord.
