A Petition

Dear Friends,

Some may consider this a minor issue, and I guess it is if you consider music and rock and roll musical history as minor. However, I do not.

The Cowsills were a '60's rock and roll band that produced a number of memorable and popular hits such as “The Rain, The Park And Other Things,” “Indian Lake,” the theme from the Broadway musical “Hair,” and numerous other songs. They deserve recognition for their place in the musical history of the United States.

However, they are so far not recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  We should do something about it!

I wholeheartedly endorse a petition to induct the Cowsills into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Committee for the Nomination of The Cowsills....
