1) The arcana is a secret process or formulas.
2) The arcana also denote sections of the Tarot deck:
The Major Arcana consists of 22 trump cards, numbered 0 to 21.
The Minor Arcana (sometimes called the Lower or Lesser Arcana) consists of 56 "pip" or court cards which are divided into four card suites.
